Alchemiq recently took on the exciting task of catering the premiere after-party for The Crow, and the night was nothing short of extraordinary.
An Atmosphere Shrouded in Mystery
Picture this: 350 guests gathered in a sprawling Manhattan venue with breathtaking views, perfectly setting the tone for the night. The huge open space was a perfect fit, with high ceilings, large windows, and minimal decor that enhanced the dark, moody lighting of the venue. Black feathers littered the dance floor, the music pulsed with a dark, electronic beat, and guests showed up in their most dramatic, movie-inspired attire. Bill Skarsgård and FKA Twigs, the stars of the show, were in attendance, adding a touch of Hollywood glamour to the night.
Culinary Darkness to Match the Mood
Our mission? To energize this vibrant crowd with a curated array of delectable passed hors d’oeuvres and drinks. We crafted eight distinct bites inspired by the movie’s dark themes, catering to every guest—from the meat-lover to the plant-based aficionado. Our vibrant and dynamic in-house team of servers brought energy to the room as they passed around items like dark steak canapés, blackened chili chicken, torched baby corn, and kelp tempura. As the energy peaked, we then unveiled two petite dessert morsels—sweet finale to a night of indulgence.
NYC Catering Excellence
Our team of mixologists manned a colossal 42-foot bar, expertly shaking and stirring craft drinks for the guests. A dedicated crew catered to the VIPs in their exclusive enclave with black seating furniture. Behind the scenes, another whirlwind of activity unfolded. In a separate area of the venue, our chefs worked tirelessly, meticulously assembling fresh hors d’oeuvres to keep pace as the event progressed.
