We used the downtime to fine-tune our systems and sharpen our marketing game. Of course, we didn’t expect the break to last quite so long…
The Excitement of a Shark-Sized Opportunity
Fast forward to June 2021. The city’s pulse was back, and so were we! Valentino, TAG Heuer, IWC Schaffhausen – big names trusted us as always to bring the flavor to their comebacks. Then, towards the end of the year, a call came in that made us do a double-take. The Shark Group, Daymond John’s empire, wanted Alchemiq for their holiday party. We’d catered for Barbara Corcoran before, but another Shark? We were stoked!
Bringing the Vision to Life
In the lead-up to the event, we collaborated closely with the Shark Group, fine-tuning their vision into a reality. The result? A spectacular holiday party showcasing an array of chef-assisted food stations and passed hors d’oeuvres. The undeniable star of the show was our massive pasta station, a culinary playground where guests could create their own pasta masterpieces. With a seemingly endless combination of pasta types, sauces, toppings, and condiments, we calculated that over 100 unique dishes were possible!
Indulging in Culinary Delights
The Raclette station was another hit. Imagine warm, gooey cheese cascading over crispy toasts, topped with everything from lobster to roasted red pepper to Andouille sausage—pure indulgence. Our mixologists also shook up a storm, crafting signature cocktails like ‘The Shark Water’—a refreshing house-made hard seltzer topped with aromatic smoke bubbles—and the ‘Holiday Margarita,’ a festive blend of tequila and spiced red wine agave. The verdict? Our drinks were the talk of the town.
A Grand Finale to a Remarkable Year
This holiday party, one of our final events of 2021, set the stage for an incredible 2022. The festive decor, lively music by Music 2 the Max, and our culinary creations made the evening unforgettable. It was the perfect way to cap off the year and kickstart Alchemiq’s triumphant return to the catering scene.
